Precision Tool & Die was founded in 1978 as a small, family-owned business. In the beginning, Precision Tool’s only service was to design and build metal stamping dies for other manufacturers. In 1986, Precision Tool entered into the metal stamping business, starting with one 45-ton Punch Press. In 1989, Precision Tool purchased its first Wire EDM Machine. In 1997, Precision Tool received its first major metal stamping contract and 1998 marked the beginning of the fabrication side of the business.

Today, Precision Tool & Die has a modern tool and die shop with two wire EDM Machines, late model stamping presses, up to 300 ton and the newest technology in fabrication equipment including CNC Press Brakes and two high-speed laser-cutting systems.
